Backdrifts are an experimental rock duo from Jersey, Channel Islands, formed in 2012. The band started as a way to explore improvisation, tone, dynamics and production, without the limitations of conventional song and band structures. Backdrifts consists of Rory Mitchell on guitars and Mikey Phillips on drums.
