BLAZ is a project initiated by Marco Hijl(a Dutch saxophoneplayer/composer/producer). After years of doing sessionwork with bands and dj's he decided to start a project of his own where he could experiment with different musicians and styles. Throughout his musical journey he met a lot of musicians and tasted different styles of music and in his way of playing the saxophone you can hear he studied jazz but also played with dj's in the house scene.
