Ayana Tsuji is one of the most promising young violinists of Japan. Born in Gifu in 1997, she started the violin at age 3. She was awarded First Prize at the 2016 Montreal International Competition, together with five other prizes (the Best performance of the compulsory Canadian work, the Best semifinal recital, the Best performance of a Sonata in the semifinal round, the Bach Award and the Paganini Award).
