Atar & The Funkadrome is a 15 piece funk band based in London. Complete with horn section, string quartet and 7- piece rhythm section, the band was formed in 2001 by writer/arranger and vocalist Atar. After several live outings and a period in which the group solidified their unique sound, the band signed a 5 album record deal with London Independent label D Records and an exclusive Publishing deal with Notting Hill Music. 2004 saw the band record their debut album ‘Funkadrome’, released in September 2005.
