War Eternal is the ninth full-length studio album by Swedishmelodic death metal band Arch Enemy. It was released on June 9th, 2014 via Century Media Records. This is the first album since Wages of Sin (2001) to feature a new lineup, with Alissa White-Gluz of the Agonist fame on vocals, after former long-time vocalist Angela Gossow stepped down from vocal duties to be the band's business manager, and Nick Cordle, previously guitarist for Arsis on guitar work, who replaced Christopher Amott back in 2012.

Arch Enemy is a Swedish melodic death metal band from Halmstad, Sweden, formed in 1996. Founded by Carcass guitarist Michael Amott along with Johan Liiva, both originally from the influential death metal band Carnage. The band has released seven studio albums, a live album (Burning Japan Live 1999), two DVDs and three EPs.
