The band took its first steps in the summer of 2004 in Turku, Finland, when Eetu Moisio started the recording of the album, which became 'Widow'. When recording was in the final stages, came Jouni Korhonen (ex-Whip Me Nicely) to the picture, soon followed by drummer Jani Vilhunen (also ex-Whip Me Nicely and a tour drummer for I'dees). They both had a big influence on the live sound of Apples of Idun.
