Anggun (born Anggun Cipta Sasmi on April 29, 1974 in Jakarta) is an Indonesian singer-songwriter. She started singing in 1986. Her father, Darto Singo, was a famous singer and producer in Indonesia and Anggun decided to follow in her father's footsteps. At the tender age of 7 years she recorded her first album with children's song.
