Blue Rev is the third album by the Canadian indie band Alvvays, released on October 7, 2022 via Polyvinyl and Transgressive. It was produced by Shawn Everett along with Alvvays’ vocalist and guitarist Molly Rankin and guitarist Alec O’Hanley. The album was announced on July 6, 2022 along with the lead single “Pharmacist”. The rest of the singles were “Easy On Your Own?”, “Belinda Says”, “Very Online Guy” and “After The Earthquake”. Alvvays is a Grammy nominated dream pop band formed in Prince Edward Island, Canada in 2011. Reverb-drenched and bittersweet, Alvvays members Molly Rankin and Kerri MacLellan were childhood friends, who began playing music with Alec O'Hanley while in high school. Lead vocalist Molly Rankin is the daughter of John Morris Rankin from the popular Canadian folk family group the Rankin Family.
