Al Fresco Banks is a bristol based singer/songwriter playing in a genre somewhat akin to anti-folk. Taking influences from NYC contemporaries such as Jeffrey Lewis and Turner Cody, Banks' songs are often humorous, often dark. Themes are commonly focused but not limited to drugs and violence. Banks is frequently joined on stage by a keyboardist/percussionist adding some quirkiness to an intimate live show. Often seen playing in and around the south-west of the UK, Banks frequently posts new songs on his Myspace page. However, a full length release has yet to surface.
