A.W.A.C.S. is a project of the amateur producer Alexander Weinhard. The name is an acronym for Alexander Weinhard Addictive Club Sounds and is an allusion to the NATO recon planes. A.W.A.C.S. has been a techno fan since 1994 and started in 1998 to produce his first own tracks, calling himself "The ALIen" at that time.
