A Common Misconception, an experimental rock outfit from Cornwall, Ontario, formed in 2006 when singer Jean-Marc Guindon and guitarist Braunson Lalonde decided to form a band. The two put posters up in Ottawa, but eventually settled with high school friend Alex Morin as a second guitarist and Shaun Harvey on drums on a reccomendation from Morin.
