California, United States (2000 – 2000)
The Internet-based experimental-rock group 58 features Motley Crue's bassist/songwriter Nikki Sixx, guitarist Steve Gibb (son of The Bee Gees's Barry Gibb), singer/songwriter/producer Dave Darling, and drummer Bucket Baker. They debuted with the single "Piece Of Candy" in spring 2000 and followed it that summer with the full-length Diet For A New America; both were co-released by Sixx's own label Americoma and Beyond Records.
