The 3 Melancholy Gypsys or 3MG, is made up of Living Legends crew members MURS, Eligh, and Scarub. The 3 first hooked up in 1992 at Hamilton High School in Los Angeles and after forming 3MG became part of a larger crew called the Log Cabin. The trio worked on music as 3MG and the Log Cabin for awhile until they slowly drifted apart. A couple years later they all reconnected in Oakland at the Outhouse where the Living Legends crew was taking shape.
