1N was formed by Pekka Rautio and Sampo Haapaniemi in Helsinki at fall 1998. Original idea was to make some type of electro-ambient-messing-around with a female vocalist. Johanna Iivanainen was found to be The Voice. The band was signed by Texicalli Records on 2002 and the first album called 'Retki' was released on November '03.
