…a meloun is a fiction based on a bilingual equivoke. It literally means “with melon”in Czech, but sounds accurately like “I'm alone” in English - and this statement is really true. The fictive group was established in 1982 when Pavel Čamrda walked through night Kladno City Park and was mugged by two bandits, Jan Gabriel Voklobák and Koloman Pyškytle.
