Matilda Tao (陶晶瑩), born 29th October 1969, is a television show host, singer-songwriter and author. Upon an unsuccessful singer debut in 1990, she changed paths to start hosting shows. She made a comeback in 1995 and released several records under label, UFO Group, cementing her musical image while still gaining little commercial success. A 2-year hiatus saw her switching labels to Formosa Music, which houses A-Mei (張惠妹) and more, and her beginning to write her own songs.
