Each reading refers to a different Japanese artist: 1) 流 (RYU) is an abstract hip-hop/trip-hop collective from Japan consisting of DJ Krush, DJ Hide, and DJ Sak. 2) 流 - Nagare is a female singer songwriter, born 流田輝美 (Nagareta Terumi), originally from Otofukechou, Hokkaido. In 1997 she paired up with 春 (Haru) to form a duo who took the name 三角堂 (Sankakudou) in 1998. In 2006 Nagare launched her solo career.
