森稚重子 (Chieko Mori) is Japanese koto player. By the age of three Mori had started to learn the traditional Japanese instrument, the koto, along with traditional Japanese dance. After graduating from university in Tokyo (SFC), Mori started to compose her own music. She left Japan in 1999 and moved to Treviso, Italy, where she was invited to FABRICA. For years she explored musical traditions, including Eastern and Western music, along with folk and acoustic music.
