Together, 桜庭統 (Motoi Sakuraba) and 田村信二 (Shinji Tamura) have composed the music for most of Namco's Tales RPG series, starting with Tales of Phantasia. A notable exception was Tales of Legendia, composed by 椎名豪 (Masaru Shiina, a.k.a. Go Shiina). Due to the fact that these composers are never separately credited, and 桜庭統 being a much bigger name in the industry, it is common belief that it is 桜庭統 who composes most of the songs, when in reality, it is actually 田村信二.
