松本英明(Hideaki Matsumoto) Koto player and composer. Born in Nagoya on December 25, 1974 he studied the piano from the age of four to seventeen years old. After entering Sophia University, he joined the Koto music club where he started playing the koto. Making use of pizzicato and harmonics and by slapping the body of his koto, he creates dynamic and yet delicate music. His work is easy to listen to, and he is popular with people of all ages.
