Wowkie Zhang (Chinese: 大张伟; pinyin: Dà Zhāngwěi), also known as Da Zhang Wei, is a Chinese singer and actor. Born in 1983 in Beijing, he rose to fame 1998 as lead vocals and guitarist in The Flowers, the first teenage rock band in China. Following the group disbanded in 2009, Zhang established himself as a solo singer, releasing five albums from 2009. His "Beer Shuang" (Chinese: 倍儿爽) was a major hit in China, following his show on Spring Festival Gala in 2014.
