She is a graduate of Aoyama Gakuin University's Department of Literature. Her nickname is Saaya, saya-saya (さぁや、さやさや?). She has lent her voice to many popular series including xxxHolic, Bleach, Fate/Zero, Code Geass, Usagi Drop, and Fairy Tail. Recently, she has voiced the role of Erza Scarlet (Fairy Tail).
