ex.cen active: 2005 (cen) - 2008, 2008-2009 genres: angura kei / folk / punk Cen was an underground Japanese rock band formed in 2005. Their releases were sold at their concerts only and often distributed. In 2008 guitarist 古舘龍 and drummer 鈴木康平 left the band, after which 柏原寛一 took up guitars and continued as an acoustic duo with 桜井優樹. In 2009 the band disbanded, after reuniting with the old bandmembers for one last show. In 2010, 桜井優樹, 柏原寛一 and 古舘龍 have formed a new band called 明海(アカルミ) or Aculmi.
