MILIYAH / Miliyah Kato (加藤ミリヤ) is a japanese R&B/soul singer from Toyota City, Aichi prefecture, Japan. Katou writes most of her own music and lyrics. She has done collaborations with other Japanese artists such as m-flo, Heartsdales, and 童子-T. After successfully winning an auditioning with Sony, Katou made her debut with the double A-side single "Never let go"/"夜空" in 2004. It reached #15 on the Oricon charts. Her first album "Rose" debuted at #2 in 2005.
