Idol Producer (偶像练习生; Ǒuxiàng liànxíshēng) is the first season of the Chinese reality television show, Idol Producer, which premiered on January 19, 2018 on iQiyi, a Chinese online video platform. The show is presented by Lay Zhang 张艺兴, in Korea known simply as LAY 레이 of EXO, alongside with Li Ronghao 李荣浩 as vocal coach, Jackson Wang of GOT7 as rap coach, MC Jin as rap coach, Cheng Xiao of WJSN as dance coach, and Zhou Jieqiong of Pristin as dance coach as well. On April 6, 2018, the last nine contestants debuted as Nine Percent.
