ZeMeKeN (Arabic: زمكان) is a Tunisian group of friends who have known each other since childhood. It all started as a music and comedy project through a depiction of life and society in Tunisia in 2003. In the pursuit of this project, ZeMeKen members all play guitar, drums, chess, cards, etc. The name of the band is the juxtaposition of two Arabic words: Zemen (time) and Meken (place) and represents a concept of spatio-temporality. Most of their songs are in a mix of Arabic, Tunisian dialect and French.
