Комитет Охраны Тепла (Komitet Okhrany Tepla, "The Commitee for Protection of Warmth") were a legendary Soviet/Russian reggae band from Kaliningrad founded in 1987 by Sergey "Oldie" Belousov, a native of Kemerovo Oblast, Siberia. Their music, which mixes reggae/dub with a bit of post-punk and folk punk, is often called "dark reggae" for its depressive mood and rather pessimistic, existential lyrics which often deal with the feeling of abandonment by God and social alienation.
