Trek was a rock band from Sverdlovsk, Russia (now Yekaterinburg). Formed in the summer of 1980 with roots in prog rock, but also adding then-newly-acquired new wave influences. The band played its last gig in January 1984, following a failed attempt to record a fourth album in 1983. The best-known lineup featured: Андрей Балашов (keyboards, violin, vocals), Евгений Димов (drums), Михаил Перов (guitar), Настя Полева (vocals), Игорь Скрипкарь (bass, vocals).
