Alec Otto was born in Newcastle South Africa. After completing his studies with Prof. Eric Müller
at the Opera school in Pretoria, he followed his teachers advice and went to Europe. Soon he started singing with famous conductors like Yakov Kreizberg (La Boheme -Weikersheim), Amy Anderson (La Boheme - Weikersheim), Christian Thielemann (Opera gala - Berlin)etc
Since August 2010 the tenor has been freelancing throughout Germany, Austria, Denmark,
Switzerland and Belgium, Japan, China and Sweden. In 2011 the tenor made his Austrian debut singing in Baden (Wien) in the well renoun Operetta Festival in Leo Fall´s Operette "Die Dollarprinzessin. Alec Otto sung the lead tenor part "Edgar" in Carlisle Floyd´s Opera "Wuthering Heights" in Theater Freiberg which was performed for the first time in Europe. In 2013 Alec Otto sang his fourth production of Don José (Carmen) in Frankfurt.

Since September 2007, Sabine Weyer was a regular student at the “Royal Flemish Conservatory of Brussels” in the class of Daniel Blumenthal (Bachelor degree) and from September 2010 until June 2012 she was studying with Alexandar Madzar at the Flemish Conservatory in Brussels for the Masters Degree which she obtained with distinction.
Sabine will publish her first commercial CD in the spring 2015, with music from Rameau and Debussy, CD published by the Austrian label “Paladino” and recorded in the world-famous Konzerthaus in Vienna. The CD will be released in more than 60 countries over the world. The official release concert will take place at the Philharmonie in Luxembourg in October 2015, thanks to the support of “Solistes Européens Luxembourg”.

Alec and Sabine have performed together in Shanghai (China) during a concert tour including the Liebes-Lieder-Walzer op 52 by J. Brahms and a selection of operatic repertoire. They decided then to work together on a Lied recital and chose this particularly beautiful, romantic programme of Lieder including Schumann’s Dichterliebe and the 3 Petrarca-Sonnets by Liszt.
