Description
The first in a series of Bugged Out parties where The 2 Bears – Joe Goddard (Hot Chip) and Raf Daddy – are joined by a DJ who has influenced them.
First up Chicago legend of boompty boomp house Derrick Carter!
The Bears are riding high on the back of their brilliant, critically acclaimed top 30 charting debut album 'Be Strong'. Mixing up 2 step, house, hip hop and
soul influences the Bears have had such club hits as Bear Hug and Work.
Derrick Carter first played for Bugged Out back in 1995, one of house music's lynch-pins his record label Classic owned the last decade.
As a DJ he is unparalleled and was the Bears' first choice to join them for part one in this occasional series.
