True but the bands we have in common are the ones we'd listen to if we had to pick ten to listen to for the rest of our lives...that and since I've been back in Seattle for 6 months I'm probably picking up some more hipster bullshit. That and the rap, I listen to a lot of that these days. I do recommend James Vincent McMorrow if you want to be a hipster elitist jerk like me. Anything I should be listening to? PS Utah, ew.

I don't really think I am! I have only added a few albums since I got back. I think I'm probably listening to slightly more ambient ish and less loud rock (of any variety). Last.fm seems to be super sensitive because with a few friends that I have almost identical tastes with it changes week to week as well! When do you leave Korea, btw?

I listen to post-rock at night. Ambient/Shoegaze, the like. Sometimes I just don't want to listen to lyrics! Check out God Is An Astronaut. For a more classical approach I recommend Ólafur Arnalds. Tell Korea I say hi!

hahahahahah I just laughed soooo hard. The nickname stems from an incident when I was 15. No one was quite killed but someone exclaimed "little miss massacre done shot the sheriff" for some reason and I became Maggie Massacre. I haven't participated in a text book massacre since WTO, when I stabbed some mannequins while looting.

I've actually never been a huge punk fan. I went straight from hip-hop to hardcore when I was a kid. There are some exceptions of course, but I'm definitely more of a hardcore kid. That must explain the low compatibility!
