Well for me it's pretty similar too, because I also used to listen to metal but since like a half year I pretty much only listen to Post rock too.

Yeah, I do watch anime a bit. Kiri is one of those rare weird discoveries when you just go "whoa that's great!" and Ergo Proxy is one of my all time favourites. I could really recommend the soundtracks to Death Note and Paprika, they are quite amazing :)
