What a bummer about the canceled FoM concert. Good that you discovered something else.

FoM, it turns out, was a bit too folky and mellow for my taste and I'm not a fan of Ben Harper. I know some people found the whole evening very magical and/or unforgettable. Alain Johannes (QOTSA/Crooked Vultures/Chris Cornell etc) was opening. Really liked his set. Fantastic guitarist, great voice, very passionate & moving songs from his solo debut "Spark" commemorating his late wife Natasha Shneider.

Yes, great concerts this fall season! I enjoyed Isobel & Mark. She has a beautiful voice. I'm glad I went, though, to be honest, I'm not a *huge* fan of her type of music. Did you get the Melbourne live CD that Mark sold from his solo tour? That was stellar! I wish he'd do a solo tour stateside.
