hi! Long time no see!

You want to know something my house is located in an even smaller town called Ft Meade! Lakeland is like a metropolitan city in comparison. I figured I would not be doing too much other than admiring architecture, but the location is great cause I'm 45 minutes from Tampa and about the same distance to downtown Orlando. Tell you what, it's amazing to listening to really good jangly tunes in a historic Victorian home with hardwood floors and high ceiling. It's like my own Athens, Ga! ;D

That sucks cause I was like looking for friends around the area, since I'm actually not from Central Florida. I bought a 117 Year Victorian house (I love historic architecture) in this very small town and like know old timers, haha! I mean it's charming but maybe you can give me some insight, as what to do around the area. I'm finally getting close to finishing my project. Thanks! : )

I actually live in the tampa bay area, Florida. I have a business in Fort Lauderdale, so I spend a lot of time in both places. I'm from Long Island, NY though. : )

cool. the scene is pretty sweet here these days. The local bar/venue is booked till the end of july. lots of local acts I mentioned before are stopping here. hurray

yeah, a couple. mostly local acts though, hope to catch Ratatat in may though. they have a gig in shanghai. a friends band is opening for them. surely will be awesome ;)
