Have you listened to Systems Officer?

what happened to the maeshi gig?

yeah i've ordered some stuff from them before, pre-orders arriving 2 weeks after store date etc. but at least they have good bands :)

ahh brilliant, should arrive tuesday or wednesday here then. ordered it directly from the bands webpage, not through bsm.. where did you order from?

hoi, have they started sending out the 7 pre orders for Tubelord?

Ah. Sounds like plan interference to me ;) How do you reply to my shoutbox without visiting me?

I trust you listened to this: http://www.last.fm/music/Be+Your+Own+Pet/_/Adventure

I'd love to go, but the midweekness of it all rules me out...

Sounds good to me. You know you can setup excludes on most scrobbler clients? Well, you can on mine ;)

And are you listening to the same song again and again?

That sounds spiffing. Are you playing football then going straight over?

Biffy Clyro? Rough in the diamonds? Don't think I'd bother with Holy Fuck, and I'm clearly disappointed that the next 2 are SSC and jofo gigs (even if the latter sounds good). BYOP have presented me with one song, and it was good, but I have yet to listen to any more.

Fancy any of these? http://www.last.fm/event/502689 http://www.last.fm/event/526687 http://www.last.fm/event/437801 http://www.last.fm/event/428222 I realise some of them are a tad cheesy and may be populated by some subset of Observer Music Monthly readers, but you just never know whether the storm will have blown over by then ;)

Liking OW...

Hello! Nice to see you last night, though sorry about my wine fuled drunken state - I owe you a beer. xx

Bravecaptain is Martin Carr's (he of the Boo Radleys) solo moniker. I just had a quick look on wikipedia and it turns out he did in fact take his name from that song, which means I'm using it third hand :(

Fuck me, I finally get LAstfm working on my laptop and the first thing it goes and does is play some My Chemical Romance on the radio. And it scrobbled. The is total BS!

i listened to his spoken word stuff on lastfm - i quite like dead kennedys but his other stuff is a bit activism-for-kindergartens ...

*cough* ok, i just went and listened. it's not. ;)

sooo Jello Biafra is that like a good thing?

Surprised to see Jello Biafra on the same page as your name!

any idea how I can find out when I last scrobbled anything? My recent tracks chart is empty because I haven't had a PC in so long...

one more message and your shoutbox witll be mine! pwned!

you're already moved and listening to music?!

I wasn't even playing Bioshock! I have been listening to music, I just can't be arsed syncing my ipod

you visited? Sorry, without my new baby there won't be many updates...

So how is: 1) the work? 2) moral? 3) the house-hunt?

hey dude, you about?

Dear Rob, David and I need some Heroes type crack...I even dragged myself off my deathbed to your house but you weren't in.....can I dispatch my courier? He'll come bearing gifts? L x

what you up to?

king of carrot flowers is like an addictive drug...

I'm seriously, really glad you like it. If you keep listening to it however, I probably won't be able to stop myself from asking what you favourite tracks are...

he's back, but delaying his visit to CS apparently. good for me, as I get a nice comfy chair for a change. And don't worry rob, I've covered it with a patented methane shield (cf. 'carrier bag').

Are you back and on our time zone yet?

when are you back? until then, i'm afraid i'll be taking your far more comfortable chair ;)

thank you times ten. i also stole The Hold Steady, as my cds were ganked recently.

hello america! so, you wanna share that VdM? soulseek? hrm?

much as I fancy it, I'll pass - getting there and back may be more hassle than it's worth. You have fun though.

oooh! I'll ask Laura...

Ah. I saw that and thought about it, but I can't really stand up for very long. Where is it?

pub later?

Awesome. Glad it went over well. I'd feel like an ass if you went through all that trouble and didn't end up liking it. With that, I'll press my luck and recommend the new generation: Piglet.

I am listening to music. Since I use an iPod I can't get immediate uploading - it's done in batches.

ahhh, I'm soooo bored, I'm going to ask a stupid question: Are Volta do Mar anything to do with Mars Volta?

dude, are you ok to meet at yours at 5:30?

Crikey - I had that headache too! I thought it was terminal... I'm at da work, are you in today?

Yeah, something to do with that rubbish sounding gig that I'm not going to. I'll try and have a listen then...

So, got any Braid you can recommend? Never herd any, and since I had no idea why you were going on about them so much on Sunday, I figured I ought to get up to speed.
