thanks. do you have a tumblr?

Thanks for accepting me! :)

Never went to Knoxville! Strange. Would like to go back eventually. Thank ya, kindly! Feel free to add or what have you, probably a hell of a lot more active there than here.

I should probably check last.fm more! I lived in Smyrna, outside of Nashville. Spent most of my time in Murfreesboro. Now I'm back home in sunny southern California. Yourself?

I didn't read your comment 'till the day of the show : / I'll have to give them a serious listen though. Also, Oh Land.. I can only imagine she will be amazing! LOVE her.

Hey! Did you make it to The Vaccines show?

Hah, no contest man! Larry and His Flask stole the show. I left midway through MBD.

Hey, thank you! =] I shoot with a Canon 5d MK II. lenses : Canon 24-70 mm and a canon 85 mm !

I live in Philly. and all this time I thought you added me because we used to be roommates. :)

our music compatibility is still super. WORD. HI ANDREW!!

on it! i've never used hype machine before..

so are you! HI!! :) (finally got my spotify scrobblin'...)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=34STLHtu97A I found a great cover of Stillness is the move.

i'll have to check out that stuff! i just downloaded new decemberists last night. i've been trying to acquaint myself with new albums these days... deathcab... my morning jacket... givers....bon iver. and the low anthem. also renewing my edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros love. oh and of course quite a bit of mumford and sons and arcade fire are continuous parts of my life. i actually saw mumford and sons again last week! :) it was great apart from the screaming teenage girls and the people that were singing along like they were at voice lessons...

got any amazing music recommendations these days??

i unintentionally took the scrobbler off my computer awhile ago and never put it back on! i actually kind of forgot about my lastfm...i should stop neglecting it!...and i will have to redownload the scrobbler...

uh, well, I'm going to start at UTK in August so I guess that's the next step. After that I have a few ideas simmering in my mind. I'm also considering taking on a minor in Information Studies. How many years do you have left in your 5 year program?

Oh, right. Didn't mean to sound like I was accusing you of anything. Sounds like a good way to prepare the underclass people for their thesis, really. Would you say it is helping you?

That sounds like it could be a violation of some academic honesty agreement or some shit, haha. I'm not sure about Tulane's policies though. Finals aren't too bad for me it was all the essays leading up to finals that sucked. I graduate May 6th finally. How about you and your finals?

haha, that happens. How's the thesis coming?

Arthur Russell!

Hey, I've been addicted to How to Dress Well, thanks for recommending. CEO is great too, btw. On something you might like, the synching in this video is pretty cool: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOHAXsJHPuw

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BtSjZoJhC9k A friend recommended this to me, thought you might be interested.

Sorry, didn't notice the last post until now this song by Niva is pretty great. So much good music I've yet to get around to. If you're ever on aim we can do some tradin'.

Yea I'm definitely going. Ra Ra Riot is worth it for me. Toro Y Moi and Das Racist are pretty badass...quite a dew great ones lined up!

Thanks ;) Are you going to foburg!?

How to Dress Well is good shit, thanks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k2ResbYwBQ I thought this was kind of similar and equally awesome.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOT2-OTebx0 I'm sure you've already heard this but I'm just curious what you think of it...?

Wicked taste man!

Yeah. Pimsleur didn't work so well for me. I found some stuff the government uses to teach languages that was a little better but I think I'll just stick to my coursework. Anyway, I'm on AIM pretty often so just whenever you're free it is likely I'll be on.

thanks! checked `em out! I really enjoyed Olympians&Surf Solar so far! some of their songs seemed 2be too noisy 4 me x) if speakin bout a bit heavy or dark electro, then u should definitely listen 2 this - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lbyu0qBvRI0 stunning!

hah, we really do have a loot music in common. life`s good. winter makes listen 2 more electro-like sounds. has it changed ur taste either?

Had a chance to listen to some Janelle Monae. Good stuff, thanks for the recommendation.

Wow. That song was pretty impressive. I'll have to check out the entire album. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPjKO6tA240 This is a link to a song by that guy I was talking about. Anyway, yes finals are coming up soon but we should trade music after we're done.

Oh yeah sometime you should check out Twin Shadow if you haven't already. Good stuff. I can send it to you sometime or something. Have you heard any cool new music lately?

Oh, I have been doing well. Taking a lot of classes but doing surprisingly well in them. How is Rome? It can't be too bad I imagine. Hopefully you are enjoying it. Yeah Pimsleur seems like it will get you speaking the language but I'm not sure how useful it is for a class (what I was using it for). And Mandarin? That's pretty cool do you think you would ever have an opportunity to use it?

Noticed you using Pimsleur. How is that working out for you? I tried the french one, it was okay.

what'd you think? from the looks of your charts it appears that you didn't even make it through the album! not a fan?? ps can you believe in a few weeks we move to rome for a semester? where did this summer gooo?!

hey! have you given the new frightened rabbit album a listen at all? i kind of love it. a lot. just saying.

i know! i love it! aaaand may i point you towards this post http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=127535160 for some national bonnaroo action. and i'll listen to caribou swim. check out mumford and sons, i love them. they remind me of frightened rabbit.

http://www.npr.org/blogs/allsongs/2010/06/29/128189562/results2010sofar#more not sure if you' know about this blog, but i think you'd like it. and this entry seemed particularly interesting. hope your summer is going well!

Going fine, just enjoying a break from school. Looks like a pretty fun class.

Oh, well that is pretty awesome. Montana seems like a cool place. Isn't it like half state parks? What sort of class are you taking there? Just thought I'd let you know about that, but if/when you get in I'm here.

Todd Steed at Ijams June 5 at 8PM.

Yeah, Caribou rocks. Been listening to him since he recorded under the name "Manitoba". Up In Flames is an excellent record.

So today I was listneing to this and thought you would probably like it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vID_Da4OMrM

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hoalcf324Q4 i love this. i can't decide which is the best part though, the indian women dancing with pugs, the pilgrim on the segway spinning around in circles, or the painter.

You heard the new Flying Lotus? It's pretty good.

Yeah, the National is playing Bonaroo also if you're going to that you still have a chance to see them.

No. I wanted to though. How often do Ben Frost and WIlliam Basinski come to Knoxville? oh yes and the national! I had about 3 papers to write that weekend. Seen any cool shows in New Orleans?
