I have never been to Grand Rapids before, but Ann Arbor is definitely my favorite city in Michigan, I go there fairly often, for shows, food, shopping and what have ya' which all were main contributing factors in my decision of attending U of M. I am actually from Saginaw so whenever there are good shows down here in the area I let a lot my friends know up in Saginaw. so I know that there is at least a group of five or six people that are going because of me. but I would definitely go I'm just trying to save money for U of M next year. and that is pretty cool that you are promoting them, do you get paid or do you get free stuff or something?

I would definitely go see broken social scene out there, but they are playing at the pitchfork music Festival. So I'm just going to save the money and see them there along with all the other awesome bands. have you heard of the pitchfork music Festival, I didn't even know it was around till last year. Btw did you go see grizzly bear when they came to Ann Arbor?

surfing the lakes, niceee. i am from new jersey, about 30 minutes from nyc. i lived in nyc for college, but when i graduated last spring i moved back to the homeland!

i heard northern michigan has a killer view of the northern lights! also, the great lakes seem sweet. you can probably confirm/deny these beliefs, haha.
