Why do you refuse to use Ticketmaster? You'll never go to any concert ever if you do that. You realize practically every venue in NY except the Highline uses ticketmaster, right? Really small indie venues use TicketWeb, but besides that you're screwed. Just buy tickets from there.

HOLY SHIT you play the Gaslight Anthem a lot. Did you go to their Radio City gigs? You'd probably like the Hold Steady and the Bouncing Souls too if you like that Jersey punk style.

Who do you know who's met the Strokes? Julian is incredibly nice in person, I know people who were neighbors with Nikolai and said he seemed nice (but he's always quiet), and I've heard people online meet Fab and say he was nice. The only ones I could imagine being considered "assholes" in person are maybe Nick and Albert. Nick was especially cocky when he was younger, and he doesn't seem to respond well to paparazzi flashing pictures in his face... But that's pretty annoying so I wouldn't blame him for that. And I briefly saw "the sixth Stroke," their manager and he seemed sweet. So that's 4/6th of the Strokes I know are nice, haha. The reason they get that reputation is because they're terrible at interviews. Watch "In Transit" on YouTube, that's how they are when journalists aren't surrounding them. I never hated Ringo, not with those wonderful dance moves of his. Really? I like all my classes so far, what happened?

lolol Utada Hikaru. That whole Ringo scene in the record shop reminds me of a story my mom told me about her childhood. Back in the 60s when she was a little kid she would tell people Ringo was her favorite member, because she felt bad no one loved him. (Now she admits her favorite member is George.) People would go "ewww, Ringo! Nobody loves Ringo!" and she would reply "that's why I love him!" It's practically identical to the conversation Summer and Tom had. Every time he wore that Joy Division shirt (http://damselworld.com/prod_images_large/joy_division_new_l1.jpg this is the one I'm talking about if you're not a JD fan, which you should be :P) Yeah, we sunk for a bit, but now we're very high again. Our compatibility meter is bipolar. How was your first day of classes?

I just realized, is the soundtrack you were talking about (500) Days of Summer? I just watched that last night and it was really good. I don't understand how the average person would like it, it's clearly made with people like me in mind. I mean, Smiths/Joy Division/Pixies references within the first five minutes, Oscar Wilde, 60s haircuts, and debates over the best Beatle? Do most people even find that entertaining? Hahaha, I love that line "Octopus's Garden?? You may as well just say Piggies!"

But I don't listen to the Academy Is enough that it would boost our compatibility rating. Or maybe I do, haha. Is windows 7 getting really good reviews? I should probably test that one out too before I make my decision.

Oh thank god, I can still get a mac, hahaha. Wait, how the hell did that happen? What did you listen to that made it very high? XD

OH SHIT. So all those Mac people actually BUY music? What the fuck, I think I might get a Windows laptop then, hahaha. Has she tried the uTorrent specifically for Macs? I saw something on the uTorrent website specifically for MacBooks and MacBook Pros. Don't want to get a Mac and find out it doesn't work, though.

Yeah I know, I've momentarily deleted some Kinks albums because I wanted some space for other artists I was listening to, I had over 400 songs by them. The Kinks are amazing, though, so they'll be the first thing I redownload when I get my new laptop... uTorrent works for MacBook Pro, right? It fucking better XD

Are those the actual Smiths songs you're listening to or simply covers? Because if they aren't the originals I strongly recommend listening to their songs on YouTube. My personal favorites would be Half a Person, Asleep, Ask, and There Is a Light That Never Goes Out. Though the catchiest would be This Charming Man. Sooo yeah, check those out, considering they're the only band that keeps us from being LOW compatibility :P

Oh wait, we're low again. Come on, you can do better than this. You're the lowest on my list of friends. Move the Smiths up to like 20 plays and we should be fine. Anyway, just add your neighbors. Those are the people who have 'super' compatibility with you, then you can talk about the artists you like with them.

About fucking time. You listen to the Replacements too? How come your events list is empty, you still haven't been to a show? And good for you, you made some friends!
