Wow Karine, that's awesome. I hope, everything will be great for you in Shanghai. Send me some photos of you and Shanghai. Yeah, as I said before I'd love to perform in Shanghai one day, and I'd love to see you dancing on the first row :) By the way, 2 months left for me to moving Sydney ^^

That would be amazing if I had a chance to perform in Shanghai one day, and if you will be living there. It looks like a perfect dream right now, but who knows? Maybe some day. By the way, I'm moving to Sydney in 3 months, and this time permanently. I will be living there. So excited!!!

I don't know what to say because you are probably the first person to be so interested in my music :) I really appreciate it. Thank you! 'Melancholy Still Resounds' is one of my last songs made under the Robert Messner project. I quite like its nostalgic atmosphere. While making it I really fell into some kind of melancholy! /////// I prefer analogue camers to digital ones. It's definitely much more fun taking photos with analogue camera. Will you upload your photographs somewhere on the Internet?

Hmmm so you think that my music is repetitious and lacks diversity? if so, I must admit that you're partially right because I am too quite bored with its dreamy, seamless sound and I am planning to do something different.. and it's going to be even something other than ambient music... more instrumental music. ///// I've got some problem with finding any information on 'white space'... ///// what analogue camera do you have?

Everything under the moniker of Suffering Astrid, Robert Messner and partly of Occurrences in Rain was made by me. But I am a bit ashamed of some of my works because many of them were conceived as a strict experiment and maybe they might not be appreciated by people :( 'Silkworm Dismembered' is now downloadable. I hope that you don't mind that I despoiled one of the elements of your native culture (that is 'silkworm'). I've been reading a lot about Chinese/Japanese culture lately and I suppose quite subconsciously placed a 'silkworm' in the title, under the influence of Lafcadio Hearn's books. I have watched many Japanese films so far but I think that I should definitely watch some Chinese ones, since it is Chinese culture that inspired Japanese in many aspects...so it's better to get familiar with the cradle :)

An idea for putting 'Astrid' into my user name derives from a film entitled 'White Oleander'. The main heroin was thus called :) Can't wait to see some of your works... just the essence of photography!

Thank you for such king words! The photograph you mentioned about was inspired by Timothy Leary and his words on mind expansion. But the effect I obtained in the picture was completely coincidental! I don't know why my Canon AE-1 did not manage to wind a film properly and in a result I ended up with a double-exposure photograph :) However, I do not give my photographs any meanings, hidden symbols any more. By thus acting photography loses its higher sense of perceiving it as a medium. I ventured to find any links that could take me to your photographs but it turned out that you haven't set any in 'About me' section. Have you got an account on Flickr? Ohhh and thank you also for enjoying one of my projects. I truly appreciate it! Greeeeeetings! :)

A Biiiiiig thank you for the lovely words of yours Jia Ling, They really made me sooo happy. It's a shame indeed that you are not here or I'm not there. But you "did" give me a great inspiration before, and I'm sure you will continue giving me more. I hope my future works will be as smooth as this one to your ears. Loads of love from Turkey *hugs*. :)

Hey Jia Ling, as I promised, I'm sending you my record of the jazz festival I played in city called Eskisehir. The 8th song "Half Life" is written by me, and performed in a trio format. The other songs are just covers, and they performed in sextet format. I hope you will like it. http://www.yalcinaydin.com/player/xspf.swf?playlist_url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yalcinaydin.com%2Ffile%2Facmf9%2Fjub%2Fmuzik%2Fjub.xspf
