I have the new Cursive, have only given it one listen so far but there's a few songs on there I really like. Hopefully I'll warm to it more on future listens. Had completely forgot about Narrows, just had a look on Deathwish and the artwork looks amazing. Also see that Converge haven't started recording yet, hope that comes soon and it will be amazing as always.

Is it like the Envy split? I really liked that. I'll check it out, just completely overlooked it for a while and I don't want them to turn into a band that i used to listen to. Anything else around recently worth checking out?

Have you heard of this new band called Narrows? Just signed to Deathwish Inc. features ex members of Botch, Some Girls, These Arms Are Snakes and Bullet Union. Couldn't find a myspace but they have a track called life vests float kids don't on the Deathwish site.

Ive just got The Messenger to play in full, sounds immense, alot like old Thrice. Is one disk heavy old Thrice and the other experimental Thrice, much like their last album? I have a BTBM album, the one with Alaska on it, never really listened to it a whole lot, found them very DEPesque.

What's the new Thrice album like? There's some tracks on myspace but they keep stopping every time I try to listen to them. I can also pick up the new Bled album with Thrice tomorrow, yay or nay?
