I'm almost at the end of my rope w/ WWE. Thankfully, there's other wrestling out there. I am hoping that Drake will be a ref turned wrestler (like they did w/ Brad Maddox). As far as Sami goes, idk what the hell they're doing with him, but they need to figure it out...

Drake was signed as a ref, and Sami has been signed for a year and still hasn't debuted on NXT. Leave it to WWE to mess up a good thing! I haven't seen too much CZW lately, but Danny Havoc and Masada are 2 dudes to watch. They will do almost ANYTHING extreme.

If you're into hardcore & deathmatch wrestling, there's CZW (Combat Zone Wrestling). Nothing will ever replace ECW, but that's about as close as you'll get. PWG (Pro Wrestling Guerrilla) is really good, too! I recommend watching Sami Callihan vs Drake Younger for the hardcore (they've both since signed w/ WWE) .

I saw the bands Raven and Accept tonight. Accept was fucking awesome! I'd only heard a couple songs before, but they blew me away :) Yeah, WWE ruins everything... I thought Vince's ECW sucked (come on, Sandman vs the Zombie), but the current product is even worse!

That was Raven :) He's busted now (considering how hot he was even a few years ago). I'm still a huge wrestling fan, although ECW will always be my favorite

For SP... James & D'Arcy are definitely missed, but they don't sound horrible. I enjoyed the 'Oceania' album a lot! (And the video for 'Owata' b/c wrestlers were in it)

i know hail of bullets, but i more prefer asphyx. luckily, to concert saxon and cannibal corpse is a couple of months so there will be no problem with money. and you have planned for this year some concerts?

unfortunately, I wasn't at the concert iron maiden. you know, money money money. but you're right. such a damn legends. as a consolation 2 months ago i was on asphyx in czech republic. i don't know if you like them, but for me they're great and gave an amazing show. vocalist, martin looks like fuckin' retired witcher, i swear!

i'm not joking. really, i'll go with you! :D I don't know what people have in their heads by getting rid of these festivals. we had something to be proud of and now we can only go to international festivals. but I have to admit that this year was a few good concerts. for example, iron maiden or anthrax. metallica will play next week. and in a few months saxon and cannibal corpse with revocation. so it's not that bad. :D

hellfest? i'm going! :D and what about festivals. over the years, all disappeared slowly. previous year was the last Metalfest, the organizers considered that festival have "little interest". for me it's bullshit. so unfortunately at this moment we have only woodstock and jarocin festival.

all the ramones albums on vynils? "i don't feel so good inside. i think i may start crying" but seriously, man, i'm soooo jealous. D: and seen danzig live! i'm speechless. i always appreciate more danzig than graves. not only in the misfits, but also in his solo career. you're so lucky man. :D and you're right. i rarely see a combination of punk and thrash metal, for example, in someone's library. I wish I know more people like you. ;)

wow, in your library is probably everything I could think of. I see good thrash metal bands, but especially I appreciate misfits. I wish more punk, but without this, is already great. greetings! :D

Paul Chain is an amazing musician and has produced so much music, it's really hard to find your way through his discography! I advise you to check his songs with Wino and Lee Dorrian, some of my favourite tracks (and not only among Chain's work). His collaborations with Lee are absolutely priceless. Also try his album Alkahest, I think I have reviewed it, probably my favourite. No matter how many times I've listened to this, always gives me the chills https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LeMXa6qgKRA And you should definitely check Death SS's very early stuff as they are more metal and seeing your preferences, I'm sure you'd enjoy it. Damn Hellfest, still haven't made my way to it, but yeah, the Valley is probably among the best stages in Europe and not only. How many times have you been? How did you find this year if you went?

Yeah, to an extent, you're right. What I meant is that it is getting more and more popular (the genre) and I think it seems, it never got so much coverage before. Just look at magazines like Terrorizer and even the very mainstream metal ones - Metal Hammer, even there you can find more and more stoner/doom reviews, interviews etc. Electric Wizard recently made the Terrorizer front page etc. Of course, real traditional/funeral doom and the likes are never going to find that many followers. Yeah, I am familiar with both bands, but basically from 2-3 youtube listens, maybe I should listen to them more. A friend saw My sleeping Karma recently and was very disappointed so this is one reason why I didn't check 'em further. I am huge fan of the Italian doom scene - Paul Chain's band and new acts as well, so much amazing music to be dug there! If you like it, I can come with some band recommendations.

I don't think it's a very unpopular genre. Considering how many bands emerge every now and then, doom and stoner have been in a prime time in the recent 3-4 years! The best stuff is always appreciated by fewer people, though. To be honest, I think it's all going to go downfall from here in the upcoming years.

Oh, thanks a lot! It always makes me glad when I see that someone's reading my reviews. So many good underground bands, so little time! And yeah, Naam's debut is amazing but their second one is just as good. I have some reviews to publish soon, probably Serepent Warning/Ocean chief.

So...I heard Futurephobia... xD I don't know, I didn't like his vocals at all. Oh well. xD Wanna send me another and see if this time it works? LOL That's great! I'm so excited for you. :D I love Mr. Big, Sheehan is one of the biggest bass players I've ever heard. Yeah, but it's hard. He went to a few shows back in his day, but I'm pretty sure he's like this with me because I'm a girl -.- Actually, I haven't listened to Love, but I really like Electric! Lil' Devil is so fun to listen to, and I love the riffs xD

Yeah, but I can try. :P Do you have any songs to recomend? Wow, there's some pretty cool bands! Are you going to watch all the days? :D LOL I agree, he's too different for those guys. I just listened to a few songs from the Whinery Dogs, it's pretty good. Sounds a lot like Mr. Big, but that makes a lot of sense since both Sheehan and Kotzen used to be in it. Nope, not for me. xD It's really hard for me to go to shows, since I live with my parents and my dad thinks it's dangerous for me to go alone. D: I haven't listened to The Cults more recent stuff, but my favorite album is definitely Sonic Temple! For me, it's just amazing. c:

And to think that I don't really know there bands very well. D: I really should listen to them more. That's cool! Do you know what bands are performing this year? Mangini was great at the show! He played Portnoy's songs perfectly and was really cool with the audience. I think it's Portnoy's loss for leaving Dream Theater to join Avenged Sevenfold. They've found a new drummer who is just as good as he was, and now, even with Flying Colors and The Winery Dogs and what else, Portnoy still doesn't really "belong" to a band, you know? And, well, he founded Dream Theater. I still like him a lot, but I think he was kind of crazy for leaving the band, even if it was to help Avenged Sevenfold. :/

Yeah! And we also have Angra, which is also awesome. But, honestly, I don't listen to that much of my national music. o; Hellfest looks freaking awesome haha Have you been to it? The show was mindblowing. Mangini was great. He's not Portnoy, which I prefer, but he played Portnoy's songs amazingly and he is a damn good drummer. :P I loved it.

We've got some good bands, but the majority of the Brazilians don't like rock and metal music :c yeah, I don't know how they let Rock in Rio become like that... It used to be so good! You've seen them both?! I am so jealous! Haha This Tuesday I'm going to my first concert, I'm watching Dream Theater *-*

Well, the government is fighting over the wrong things everywhere. Brazil is a clear example of that too, worrying about World Cup when we have some serious problems that are very hard to fix. Sao Paulo is a huge city and a mix of many cultures. I like living here, though sometimes I miss living in a quiet and calm place. Being a metalhead in Brazil is complicated too, but you get used to it haha
