I'm glad to hear you're doing great :D I'm doing pretty good too, got an eye surgery today LOL so I have a raging headache but besides that, things are decent, graduated from university last year ^^ I actually don't go on here that much I think, mostly cause my Last.fm scrobbler stopped working. Yeah, recording is serious thing. I need to learn a lot, but right now I'll do what I can with my computer and stuff :P. I'll try to check how the VSTs things work, it's very weird for me xD. Mh well, I don't know really, last year (or in 2007, I cant remember) I downloaded cubase to try it out but I just didn't understand how it worked xD, I guess I was hoping it to work magicaly or something :P, so I deleted it... now I have Sonar but for some weird reason when I try to use it, it just doesn't work, asks me to select the output midi device and I do, but doesn't work >_>. And my brother has Sonar in his computer with a soundcard, but is very weird so I don't know xD. <br> <br> I don't know too much about FL Studio either xD, I just use it to make synths and drums sound more realistic. I'll try to check out the VSTs thing ;), I've heard of a free program called Reaper, they say is good but I haven't used it... oh, and by the way, do you recommend any free VSTs? as for what I know, those you use are paid ones and I have to try with free ones at the moment. :P

Well I've heard a little about it, but I haven't been able to use it, I need a soundcard or something to make sonar/cubase work and stuff... but well, right now I use soundfonts from FL Studio for synths/drums, at least is better than plain midi :P. http://www.sheezyart.com/view/1953550/ here's something I wrote in September I think, is the only thing I've recorded so far (well, I have another thing recorded but it uses plain midi for drums and synths so I'm not showing it to you because you would laugh a lot :P) from my metal project, I hope you can listen to it and give your opinion ;). Well, today I talked with René from Equilibrium, who is one of the guys who will produce our album, and he told me now the they are repairing some things at studio, but once they have finished they may start with it. So he told me maybe about December '08 or early '09. Once we release it you'll know through our myspace. Cheers! ;)

Hi dude! Actually we have just played together with Equilibrium, at Helion Festival ;) About your question, we use VST plugins. And as far as I know we have used Vienna instruments, Edirol Orchestral, and some symphonical one that I don't remember for the choirs. Actually we use the same ones Equilibrium used for "Sagas" and at studio they'll produced our album with the same software as "Sagas", since it's the same studio. Cheers!
