hahaha have fun at schoooooooooool. but yeah, that's actually Kyary Pamyu Pamyu I'm listening to, who is a Japanese pop singer (the only real key to telling the difference between East Asian writing systems is to look at them enough and see the patterns. compare the Japanese and Korean alphabets alone and you can distinguish them pretty easily from then on) and her music itself is really catchy and ultra-poppy while her videos are fucking cool. Even at times when the production value might be a little low or simplistic, they're still way more imaginative than most vids I've seen from western artists. But otherwise yeah, i feel you: there's no business I have whatsoever in threads that are more about idolizing/objectifying the performers instead of focusing on their work.

I myself have actually been on my own break from /mu/ sans coming back to it, so I actually have no idea what's going on there anymore, but I did win Tripfag of the Year third time in a row so that's kinda funny. Yeah, I think that was my thing against it too. I have a tendency to not pay attention to new albums which kind of works and doesn't--sometimes the best parts will instantly catch my attention, but I can also miss out on really good details. But when listening to Saturdays, I just thought it was really boring. Idk, we'll see.

While its definitely not their best album, it makes the greatest atmosphere. I really have nothing more to say on the album other than its great and if you enjoyed it you should check out Slow Riots if you haven't.
