Hey mate! New Steven Wilson out. Have you heard it? It's glorious.

Haven't tried tesserac(t?), but I do love me some Opeth. Have you heard the Damnation & Deliverance remixes?

http://stevenwilsonhq.com/sw/limited-edition-vinyl-compilation-transience-to-be-released-in-september/ Super interesting!

Long time, no see! How've you been mate? Excited for more Steven Wilson?

Haha yeah, I never had it before, I have no idea why. I like it so far.

Man, I forgot I had an account. How's everything been?! Liking Steven Wilson's stuff? Been going Through a Japan/David Slyvian phase. Love that guy's work.

It is amazing. I've listened to it almost every day since release. I'm in Skype now a days man if you wanna chat. IggyNub is me! :)

The new album by Steven Wilson will blow your mind man. Also, how are you?

"Your musical compatibility with Simo46 is SUPER"

They come and go. It's pretty easy to get caught up in Floyd though. You're lucky though, I got caught up in the 70s for a couple months!

Raider II is essentially Cirkus, to me. But yes, I fucking love it. Downloaded the pre-order demos/bonus tracks and the bluray bonus tracks. 4 CDs of awesome.

Portnoy is a moron if he tries to sue. Fuck me... I fell in love with the opeth album on first listen. Absolutely amazing. brb, looking into the sueing and what-not

Opeth and Dream Theater's new albums have been leaked. Dream Theater's sucked, as expected. Currently downloading Heritage. Holyfuck i'm excited.

Yeah, i'm quite retarded for it at the moment. Little corny lyrically, but when isn't Opeth lacking in the lyrical department (bar Damnation). Loving the organs/hammond in Devil's Orchid. Can't wait for the new album.

http://stereogum.com/766792/opeth-the-devils-orchard-stereogum-premiere/franchises/haunting-the-chapel/ Awesome has a single, and its due in September.

Yeah, I can't quite get into it. Which is a shame, I was really looking forward to it.

New Dream theater single is out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oasnbzEMV08 Pretty uninspiring. Meanwhile on planet Portnoy; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFKeo8h_K_k For once, i'm siding with Portnoy.

Ahoy, New Opeth on the horizon. Set to be a "prog rock" release, with no guttural vocals. Could be amazing.

Should ding 60,000 plays in the next week.... o.0

Hey, I'm b35ty on the forum as well. Call me Chris. The great thing about the MP forum is that everyone has "Super" music compatibility. :)

SUPER BESTIES GAI GAI!!!!

Thanks Simo. Yeah we haven't chatted in ages, Sorry 'bout that. I'm just new into Devin myself. Addicted is a good place to start. Terria, Ocean Machine and Accelerated Revolution are awesome. I'm pretty stoked to see Devy too.

just bought it, I thought it was interesting and different. I'll be getting more of his Cd's.

I approve of what you're listening to now. HeHe!!!!!

no problem Dude! Try me again tommorrow around 6PM or so eastern atlantic time.

Music is like candy, throw away the rappers! HaHa! Awesome Man!

Thanks Man! I'll spin a few PT now before I head off to sleep.

Yeah I should listen to more PT. I apologize, Dude! If you're on Facebook, can I be one of your friends. Thinking of signing up. Not having fun on MySpace anymore.

Thanks Dude! I appreciate your kind words. On to the Mastodon show on the 23rd for me. I'm really pumped for this already!

Congratulations Dude! Damn, you'll be seeing PoS. Have a good time at the show. I'm VERY jealous of you. HaHa!

No Dude, I've never been to a PT show before. I missed out getting a ticket for that Toronto show. But I have been guarenteed that I will be going to see them the next time they come back. (That's what having buddies is all about, HaHa!) I have the "Arriving Somewhere" DVD which is amazing. So all is not bad. I'm all pumped to see The Mars Volta tommorrow night and can't wait to see Mastodon on the 23rd. I'm loving "Crack The Skye" the more I listen to it. HeHe!

Hey Simo! There's an journal of last night's PT Toronto show up. You might want to check it out: http://www.last.fm/user/anesthetize666/journal/2009/10/01/31x9o9_porcupine_tree_-_

HaHa! I guess that makes two of us, since I haven't spun Opeth for a while. Here's another Dredg video for you. Yep, I was there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5JAmBx7zFs

Yeah that Mikeal Akerfeldt solo album should be interesting. He probably gonna explore new ideas other than Opeth. It should be amazing when it comes out.

Not real sure if they put out any DVD's, but I'll look into it. Oh Man! Opeth, gee wish I could see them again. Have fun at the show. Mars Volta is next weekend for me, getting more stoked each day!!! Booyaaa!!!

But on an happier note, DREDG is coming to Aussie land. That's supercool, hope you can go and see them. You have to see these guys in concert. My favorite show of '09 was Dredg when I saw them in Boston. Oh! Yeah!!!!

Hey Dude! I did download Obzen. After listening to it, I found the vocals not being to my tastes. I'm sure the musicianship is brilliant, but the songs were almost being the same to me. Thanks for recommending it though, sorry if I disappointed you with my take on it.

What's a good Meshuggah album to start with?

Disc 1: 01. Overture / Whirlwind 02. The Wind Blew Them All Away 03. On The Prowl 04. A Man Can Feel 05. Out Of The Night 06. Rose Colored Glasses 07. Evermore 08. Set Us Free 09. Lay Down Your Life 10. Pieces Of Heaven 11. Is It Really Happening 12. Dancing With Eternal Glory / Whirlwind (Reprise) [<font]Disc 2: 01. Spinning 02. Lenny Johnson 03. For Such A Time 04. Lending A Hand 05. The Return Of The Giant Hogweed 06. A Salty Dog 07. I Need You 08. Soul Sacrifice

I prefer it to 75 minute albums with only four tracks. I'm looking at you, Bridge Across Forever.

the song you're listening to right now totally KILLS!!! ANd Mastodon's Crack The Skye is ruling me big time now! Gonna see them in late Oct. Can't wait. HeHe!

I bought that Muse Cd today too, due to all the hype. Big mistake, except for maybe 2 songs the rest of it was weird and kinda sucked.

HaHa! I liked from "Time Flies to Circle of Manias" the best so far. The rest will need some more spins to get used to.

I don't know Dude! The 2nd time I listened to it, it was boring to me. Maybe it's my mood at the time. Like it's not bad, there's just other bands that exciting me a lot more. Yeah, I like that Long Distance Calling a lot better. To me it's a mild version of an instrumental Between The Buried And Me.

Yeah it's kinda different. I checked out some of it on YouTube and thought it was worth getting off iTunes. Hey Man, you MUST check out the CD: "Avoid The Light" by Long Distance Calling. This thing is beyond sure brilliance, Dude!!

Bought it! Listening to it now for the first time.

D: I added you! I'm the guy with the stylish good looks and in the Texas State network, in the yellow jumpsuit.
