BL, I have felt like I have but thats for the outsiders to decide. Keep up your listens I've been loving the new jpeg stuff. Really like the extras on the director's cut too. It's not for everyone but it's clicked for me. Have you only listened to his new stuff or old stuff too?

hope you like it vro! branching out to other genres is a valid choice. i used to do that too but it drove me mad when i realised i didnt really have a genre i was truly passionate about. i knew i liked one a lot but never really dove deep into it and this doesnt help in the long run because id just end up going back and feeling like they hit weaker than they used to. it does give you a good starting point but not really a sustainable strat id say. especially if you check out a genre for the first time and it does instantly click with you so you just kinda end up writing off the WHOLE genre, which sucks. but yea you just have to dig deep if you really wanna find cool stuff, and that takes time

Of course, I would say hip-hop is def my fav genre, and dig into it from time to time, but sometimes i look at my catelogue and think i need to spice it up with other genres. I'm big into Kasabian, Kings of Leon, RadioHead, Foo fighters, Steroephonics, Muse etc etc but i dont listen to them enough then i want to lol. Just depends on my mood which is usually always high energy shit lol. But it's true with finding too many and end up binning a lot of it as you gravitate to one you like a lot.

yup. and if you were to branch out into something like indie rock, the possibilities would be literally endless.... im not even sure there is anyone who always listened to indie rock and managed to hear everything, its just such a broad and saturated genre too that pretty much any newgen rock album could be classified as "indie". but yeah it also depends a lot on mood, with stuff like ambient or metal, two of the extremes, you really need to be in the right mindset to fully appreciate them, otherwise they just wont hit the same way. also great artists you just listed, highly recommend getting into dream pop too, i think you would enjoy it quite a bit
