Sim, fui ao Mexefest! Vir estudar para Lisboa trouxe vantagens! Do que viste, o que gostaste mais? Eu gostei de todos os nomes que vi, mas tenho que salientar Savages, Young Fathers e Braids, foram concertos que adorei ver.

Ansioso por ouvir o modern vampires of the city ao vivo? I sure am!

Paredes é sempre a minha principal escolha. Pelo ambiente (que para mim é o melhor ambiente que se pode ter num festival), a distância (Paredes de Coura fica a 20/25 Km da cidade onde vivo), e o cartaz que é sempre espectacular.

Adorava ir ao Primavera (Aquele cartaz!! Fico maluco xD) e ao dia 14 do Alive ver Alt-J, Band of Horses, Tame Impala, Phoenix..... Mas vou ficar pelo fantástico Paredes de Coura que também está a ficar com um cartaz ao meu gosto. :D

O Halcyon Digest é fenomenal, isso nem se põe em causa! :D E festivais, este ano pensas em ir a algum?

Qual é a tua opinião acerca do novo álbum dos Deerhunter? Eu acho que está mesmo bom. :D

Anything Deerhunter-related will never annoy me haha. We just talked about his (then) upcoming tour and the city of Kennesaw in Georgia. I brought it up since I live there and he grew up near where I live now.

I was hoping for that as well, but I guess since he has the band, he stuck to the new songs. And yeah, the venue I saw him at was really small, so I got to talk to him before and after his set.

Now that he's got a full band backing him up, his songs translate really well live (he seems to be only playing the new songs though). He still seems a bit nervous on stage, but I'd suggest seeing him regardless. Depending on the venue, you could try to get a chance to speak to him too, he's really nice.

Of course I remember you! It was the best concert of my life, I'm really shy so meeting him was kind of awkward but he's the best person to be awkward around. He's just really warm and sweet, I couldn't really articulate how much his music has had an impact on me, so we just briefly chatted. I got to give him a CD of my music/ a 10 page booklet that I collaged and painted (it's like a storybook type thing to go along with the songs.) If he responds my soul will be totally melted with joy. The openers were fucking great too.
