Hello PaperChampion90! Great musical taste! I need to check out some of the artists in your library. I am curious to know what you would think of my friends' band, MANKIND: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bedN-v9QMwc . Cheers from Sweden

Sure mate, I'd be glad to help. I assume you have no previous experience with both, so this is my recommendations; for Radiohead, start from the album The Bends, then go forward chronologically from there. If you don't like what you've heard once you've finished listening to OK Computer, skip to In rainbows, if you don't like that either, chances are you won't like Radiohead. Otherwise, proceed as normal and listen to their first [very inferior] album last. As for John Frusciante, you can start from either To Record Only Water for Ten Days or Shadows Collide With People, both are really good starts. After those, I would go with Curtains and The Empyrean, then it doesn't really matter since if you get there you probably are gonna enjoy every other thing he's done regardless of order. Hope I helped, and enjoy :).

Ulver is a band that I hold really close to my heart, they have kinda changed their sound a lot over the years, they actually started out as black metal but now play a more electronic/experimental type of music. I really love their new album, but I'd say that Perdition City is my favorite, and really a perfect nighttime-album, something to listen to in headphones. ;) they're not a band for everyone though, but give them a shot!

Hey! Thrice is a band I really love, but they have changed their style a bit over the years, so it's not surprisingly if you would love some albums and dislike some others, seeing as their earlier stuff is different to their newer stuff. Personally I would recommend The Alchemy Index, it's pretty much a 4-part album consisting of 4 EP's, each focusing on an element (water, fire, air and earth), each doing it in a different style, with lyrics and such focusing on the element. The Fire-EP shows the bands more heavier side, the Water EP shows a more oceanic, keyboard-focused sound, Air has a very ethereal vibe and Earth is very much acoustic and folksy. Checking that full album out is one of my best experiences, so I can't recommend it enough! All 4 EP's in a row is gold. :) Report back later with opinions and such!
