That's cool. If you're looking for something similar, you should check rave remixes of pop songs by Mater Suspiria Vision. They are also doing sick visuals. http://vimeo.com/33940223

I still haven't really listened to Flipron. There, I said it.

OK, you can count on me :D Thanks for the recommendations, I was recently listening to the similar areas, the sitar legend Ravi Shankar, and John Coltrane - great jazz artist. I'm still quite new to that type of music, so feel free to give me some names. I'll do the same, I promise :)

Welcome to the East London group! I see you like the awesome Camera Obscura, what's your favourite track?

Oh, I thought that Chessid was an XVII-XVIII composer, when you wrote you're stuck on this era, my bad again :D I'm pretty into classical music now, hope I'll find something stunning soon. At the moment I love "Rites of Spring" by Igor Stravinsky. Pure doom! And how's your essay? :)

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/bbncpldmanoknoahidbgmkgobgmhnafh Here you are, it's not very complicated. After adding this plugin to your Chrome just enter any artist you want to listen on last.fm and instead of black "Play" buttons you'll have the blue ones. Click on it and voila! In the upper right corner of your browser will be the last.fm icon and after clicking on it the playlist will roll out. Anyway, there's an instruction video in the link I've sent you. It's much better than Spotify or any other free player since you can play nearly every artist here - I still haven't found a single song I couldn't listen. Sometimes an error occurs and the player shows "Track not found", but after refreshing the page everything is fine. Hope I helped :) Haha, sorry, I thought Chessid has been composing in twentieth century, my bad. Anyway, I'll check him. Oh, lucky you! There are so many great shows there in UK, I'm so jealous ;_( Thank God we have UNSOUND and OFF here in Poland.

My library is constantly getting bigger since I've found Google Chrome plugin for free last.fm radio, so you will have a lot of music to listen :D XX century avant-garde composers? That's cool, I wanted to check some of them, like Olivier Messiaen or Iannis Xenakis, but I always had something more 'catchy' to listen that distracted me from them. Oh, and good luck with writing that essay, let the holy spirit fill your mind :D

Hi Neil! Alexander here ; )

Hi Neil. I think you liked the songs I made last year. After a short break I'm back with new songs: http://www.myspace.com/kita_akita

pff, i couldn't make it to either gigs... but please don't give up on me yet, one day i'll make it!!

hey neil, i couldn't make it to the brakes :-( was is good? haha i didn't recognize good ol' woody there! i haven't seen that movie. so it's a floating device, of course... bye!

The friend I'm going with's an Ooberfan too so the place will be overrun with us ;-)

Yeah Ooberman are ace. I don't actually run the Oobtube, I just help out with deleting the spam! I see you're going to the Brakes gig on Monday too. Am looking forward to that.

hi, thanks for the request. i recently moved to cardiff and i'm always up for a good gig. so please let me know when there's something coming up that isn't listed here :-) grtz nanna. p.s. what's up with that pic? is you that you dressed up as a euh vegetable??

Hey, diolch yn fawr for the friend add request-shall have to give your radio a listen to!

That's some good taste in music you have!

ARGH....this new site is very confusing! Oh well, I'm Ian and its oh shit what is my phone number? Hmm.... its 07976 475 372. I think.

ooh, The Chiffons, snap! I see you're going to indietracks. So am I. Fancy a pint?

ohymy! are you going to the indietracks festival? I had thoughts about visiting it, but I was at the great escape in brighton instead, afterhand that was a bad decision. I would love to se ballboy live, but my wallet is to thin :/

Hey Neil, not so sure about plans for Indietracks anymore... haven't arranged anything and-- just saw it in the Guardian guide so I wonder if it'll sell out! Went to the album launch for Darren's bluegrass foray, actually. Something like 8 encores! Truly magic x

i guess not. or you just hate me. contemplating flying home for glastonbury, then back to india afterwards... any thoughts?! hahaha

oh, you JUST LISTENED. on IM anywhere, goodsir?

Latest thing: Radiohead, 6 May. It's a long one.

hehe, and lo! the ronettes make it to the top of your charts. :) did you try that motorettes track out? thanks for the message, mate. i am sunning myself in indonesia now. su. perb. will email in due course, sir. cheers!

it just occurred to me that i CLEARLY should've said complete the quartette. sigh.

bossettes, marvelettes... hope you've been giving the ronettes appropriate time too! in fact, i have some motorettes with me too, i think. if i get anywhere with a decent internet connection i shall send some over for you to complete the quadruple! will reply to your message soon, cheers for that and cheers for the tracks!

I'm also somewhat inexplicably learning Welsh. Perhaps to make up for misspelling miwsig last summer.

Seriously! Hey, I'm going to be in England for the whole of the summer--see you round possibly? So excited about Comet Gain at Indietracks! You can't imagine how hard I've campaigned on their behalf...

have found no hesse yet! been swotting up on cervantes, joyce and dostoevsky though... quite in love with joyce, actually! have you read dubliners? check your inbox here.

Hey Neil That's great you'll be at Spiral Scratch on Sat - will be great to see you again. Ok, I'm off to check out this band. See you soon.

The Gonzalez article is done. Please watch for a CD review of Bon Iver later.

ah, thankfully i still get to listen to my radio whilst away! you should give my radio a try, actually, i see no super furry animals in your profile! cheers for the email and hesse heads-up, could you send me paul's current email addy too? thanks mate.

ni hao! i am in china, mr. jones and bloody loving it. how the devil are you? didn't manage to get hold of any hesse before i left, fancy transcribing a book or two into my shoutbox? ta.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. Glad Jens was on top form! I was mostly around suburban London and Brighton (cold! sea is not a good idea when it's snowing!). I'd love to visit Wales, if my de facto tourguide/boyfriend is up for it. Wonder what the lineup for Indietracks this year will be! See you there? x

hi neil! the bad thing about this website is people can see when you're listening to snuff. hey! you're the 'neil' that does miwsig, my friend ellie writes/wrote for you and mentioned about you once. looking fwd to Bobby McGees again. we are only 'Medium' so should stop talking to you now.

Hi Neil! Happy New Year!:).. Thanks very much for giving me a chance to be a miwsig contributor.. it was my pleasure; and I hope to keep being one in this 2008:).. All the best! xo

Right back atcha, although you didn't actually add me.

Hi, I hope you don't mind my contacting you, but I thought you might be interested in a group I started [group]Cardiff Live Music[/group]. It might be right up your street! Thanks :)

How was Jens? Getting ready to head over to your side of the ocean for New Years! Happy holidays! x

hey there, do you review demos at all, because my band (Zissou) have a couple up on our myspace (www.myspace.com/zissoumusic) if you're interested? Happy Listening! x

Jens was amazing; it was an acoustic solo show with only 100 tickets sold--like having him in my bedroom playing! Ooh, Josh Rouse is playing at yr show too? Jealous. x

Do you know about the present situation regarding their drummer? They sent a bulletin on myspace looking for a female drummer who can also sing about a month a go and they only list Koichi and Niyan as members of the band.

Ah, I finally get to see Jens Lekman next week. A much needed dose of sunshine in my life. :) Hope you're doing good!

Haven't heard from Stuart in a minute, think he's off gallivanting with a lady; unfortunately I won't be over for his next thing in Dec! Me, I'm still on neo-mod stuff like Comet Gain etc. but my boyfriend's been sending Gruff Rhys and Euros Childs, so, uh, sort of a Welsh trend lately... god only knows!

Heya! Sorry again about misspelling Miwsig in the booklet... :/ Hope all is well in your shiny pop world and thanks for the music! Here's hoping we'll meet again someday. x

Hello!

By the way Au Revoir Simone will be @ the Casbah in the city of San Diego, CA, on the 26 of august, I think I'll give it a try.. It wont be much of a bother to get there since I live in TJ, Mex. I'm looking forward to it.. XO

Thanks! You too - really good tasty taste! Good bands, count me in! Oh and if you need an extra support act for anything, check out and download my band's songs here: http://www.last.fm/music/Zissou or on our myspace. Take Care

Ooh, the mystery! Nope, you're definitely an old 'un. Musical taste, writing style, mythological knowledge (I took a quick look at your web page - wow, now I sound like a stalker, oh well) far too good for one so sprightly. Au Revoir Simone attract me just for the name. Haven't heard any of Darren hayman's new stuff. I know there's a Hefner boxset out too, oh well, when I'm rich..

hey friend! you realy have a good taste of music (sorry for my english)
