I think there's going to be a show there one of the first few days of August, like a giant gig with all of Nashville's locals, including JEFF and Natural Child. But the really good shows are going to be in October at other venues. You still going to be around then?

Je dois t'avouer que j'ai toujours eu du mal à accrocher à Of Montreal. Dans le genre, cet album est très bien fait mais j'ai un peu de difficulté avec leur pop "à tiroirs": manque de spontanéité pour moi. Alors il-y-a toujours des bons moments, de très bons morceaux pop limite funk des fois mais un peu plus de simplicité et d'immédiateté dans leur démarche me toucherait certainement plus. Des fois je suis frustré car je me surprends à accrocher à une mélodie, un moment mais il est cassé immédiatement par ce côté un peu progressif. Les passages psyche/ambiant sont un peu "too much" je trouve. En fait si je devais résumer cet album ce serait ça: "trop". Ils en font de trop, ils en mettent partout, tout le temps. Ce n'est pas la musique qui me touche. Ceci dit ça reste un groupe que je respecte pour ce qu'ils ont fait (collectif elephant 6 etc), ce qu'ils apportent (leur musique est peu commune et influence un tas de gens). Mais il ne me touche pas. Et toi qu'en penses-tu dis moi?

Yeah you're comment about Hissing Fauna not being incomparably better than all the others on Of Montreal's page made me curious. It's definitely between False Priest and Skeletal Lamping, with Skeletal Lamping edging it out mostly. Those are their two best IMO. Although, there are a lot that I haven't heard yet. Do you like thecontrollersphere?
