Am I? Can you explain how and when I used an argumentum ad hominem?

And like I said, I do know that a lot of them couldn't care less about the philosophies and ideologies of Nazi Germany. I never said they were for real, I never said that they were truly 100% Nazis to the bone, thats you presuming stuff again. I simply said that it's ironic, corny, and lame. And that's my opinion, and I have facts to sustain my opinion on that regard. The fact is that whether they're for real or simply adding shock-value gimmicks into their marketing schemes in an empty concoction of corniness, my is still valid because it is indeed an oxymoron in essence. It does not demote my reasons for criticism, they're still valid either way. And all you did so far was to attack my persona instead of focusing on the facts and telling me where I'm wrong and where my criticism isn't valid and why and, besides personal attacks, you simply stated stuff that does not really cancels the validity of my opinion. So, I can't grasp why you're even bothering since you agreed with me.

Now, how exactly am I playing stupid? What make you think that I, for criticizing something and then pointing the relevant facts that totally sustain my criticism as a valid, am playing stupid? Thinking that I'm the smartest prick in the world? Thats your analysis of the situation, and let me tell you, I do not agree with your analysis, you're presuming stuff and that's a bit over the the top. Let me recap: 1) I simply made a criticism; 2) You called me a dumbass; 3) I showed you my arguments for that criticism; 4) and now you're calling me a prick who thinks he's the smartest guy around. Well I'd guess you're one using too much argumentum ad hominem instead of focusing on the actual arguments and facts. Also, it depends on the school and country. Not every single high school program teach kids about these details. And I'd say that I'm afraid that a lot of people still don't know about these facts, judging by what I seen around in the Internet. We can't know everything, right?

And no, I'm not looking for that shit right now to impress someone, I don't even know you and after we're done we'll pretty much forget each other, let's face it. I actually know those facts from the top of my head. So... I'd guess that it's a bit more interesting to memorize stuff such as these important historical facts and their names, instead of memorizing, huh, let's say: football players or celebrity facts. Which I don't really fucking care that much because they're irrelevant to what really matters, which is the history of humanity in it's crudest forms. And sure, stuff like fascism and how the Catholic Church has been historically embracing of fascism... It's just... crazy, I can't even begin to decide on where to begin because there's just so many facts that they're been dealing with the scum of the earth. From the Reichskonkordat all the way to post-WWII cases such as Paul Touvier. It's just disgraceful of them and I won't pretend they're not to blame for it.

It's funny because last time I checked we don't really know each other beyond what I said in that shoutbox, and I'd guess you're trying to push beyond that barrier of a small fraction of a notion about my character that is possible to extract from those very same comments. I guess that could be considered an argumentum ad hominem, instead of a real solid argument. Indeed a lot of these bands only use Nazi stuff as an additional shock value to their lyrics, because they just wanna follow a trend, they all about gimmickry, along with being eager for attention, and some of them - if not all - look kinda corny in that respect. And like you said, even you can find contradictions in it, which is funny because you're basically trying to fight a losing battle here, where you already know that what I said is not a fantasy nor an illusion. It's a fact. And I wasn't touchy, I was simply replying.

@CBA0, you called me a dumbass on an artist page. Care to explain why I'm a dumbass? First of all Black Metal is, by essence, anti-Christian. Fact: it's a well known fact that Adolf Hitler was a Christian. With that in mind, it's kinda ironic that a lot of NSBM bands use Nazi aesthetics and are sympathetic towards a regime that was a huge advocate for Christianity at that time. The first big treaty signed by Nazi Germany was with the Vatican, exchanging powers and mutual support, the Reichskonkordat. As for Mussolini, another prominent figure of fascism, he did the same thing and made Christianity the official religion of the state and signed the Lateran Treaty. So you see the oxymoron here, or do I need to school you a bit further on this topic? Also antisemitism has been absorbed into NS through Christian influences. So before resorting to argumentum ad hominem attacks, it's best to check your facts first.
